In 1934 the beginning of Francis Thomas Contracting was simple, customers needed access to building sites and their properties. Francis Thomas and his father Frank worked at building relationships with the community along with building the components of a sucessful business. Quickly things evolved to constructing foundations and septic systems. In the mid 1980's grandson of Francis, Keith Thomas joined the work crew and eventually bought the business from Francis. In 2010 Francis Thomas Contracting has become the basis for excavation and heavy equipment service in the area. The business has expanded into many different categories to provide a reliable and consistent product and service to the customer. We are currently operating several excavation work crews, that handle new building construction, septic system installation, driveway and roadway construction, as well as water access properties. We work with many of the home builders in the area, bringing the experience of many decades, to offer solutions to the challenges of building in the Haliburton region. Thomas Contracting is capable and experienced in bringing a wooded lot to a ready to build-on state, with foundation, in short order.
